Moin Männers und zwei Damen,

mich würd mal spontan interessieren was ihr vom Steam OS haltet?

Mir gefällt die Idee das es keine Konsole ist sondern ich das Ding einfach auf nen Zweitcomputer aufspielen kann. Dazu kommt endlich eine Alternative zu Windows auf den PC wenn man spielen will, auch wenn man das wohl recht vorsichtig betrachten sollte bis und ob sich hier wirklich die AAA Titel einfinden aber Steam ist groß genug um dafür sorgen zu können (glaube / hoffe ich).

Ich bin irgendwie recht gehyped was das Teil angeht obwohl das ansich alles soweit nichts neues ist. Für mich, der ich absolut nichts mit Konsolen und Gamepads anfangen kann wirkt das aber irgendwie wie ein feuchter Traum, endlich meine Games im Shuttle-PC einfach mitnehmen oder im Wohnzimmer zocken können.

Ansich ist das alles ja nichts neues und das bringt mich zurück zu der Frage wie sieht der Rest das? Bisher kenn ich niemanden dem es hierbei so geht wie mir, freu ich mich hier über nichts und wieder nichts (weil nüchtern gesehen könnte man das alles auch mit einem Windows-Shuttle...)?

Also gehyped bin ich davon nicht, vorallem weil sich das so (oder ähnlich) ja schon abgezeichnet hat (Big Picture Mode, Family Sharing und so).
Tortzdem find ich die Sache gut, endlich auf linux zu bauen, da ich selber inzwischen lieber eine Linux Distribution einsetze als Windows (zumindest auf Rechner auf dennen ich nicht zock).

Ich bin viel mehr gespannt auf die zwei fehlenden Announcements

hoffentlich endlich die Steambox aber was soll dann das dritte sein, villeicht endlich Half Life 3

da bin ich wirklich gespannt drauf
