Jo sogar mit FTP bzw die klare Empfehlung ist SFTP / FTPS, FTP ist sonst wirklich Klartext...

da die Diskussion gestern schon mitm Rattle aufkam, FTPS ist klar, die verschlüsselte Variante.
Aber SFTP ist doch Simple FTP also doch auch klartext oder?

Gibt nen unterschied zwischen Secure File Transfer Protocol und Simple File Transfer Protocol, da letzteres so alt ist und auch funktional beschränkt ist (nur eine TCP Verbindung) wird das hoffentlich kein Hoster mehr anbieten sondern immer das Secure File Transfer Protocol meinen, wenn von SFTP die Rede ist.
