Schlaflos in Heldrungen 12

Der Juli ist kein Monat für eine normale Lanparty - deshalb veranstaltet der DoomTown e.V. auch keine gewöhliche Party in einer langweiligen Sporthalle.

Und die Location ist nichts geringeres als die Festung Heldrungen, eine echte Wasserburg im Norden Thüringens.

Das mittelalterliche Ambiente der Festung lädt dazu ein, sich ein Wochenende in die Zeit der Grafen und Fürsten zurückzuversetzen.
Die Lanparty ist im Gewölbe der Wasserburg untergebracht - fünf Meter unter der Erdoberfläche, fernab jeder Sonne und nur durch Lüftungsschächte mit dem Tageslicht verbunden.
Doch außerhalb tobt das wahre Leben. Während unter Erde traditionelle Turniere am Rechner ausgetragen werden steigt außen auf dem riesigen Freigelände der echte Wettkampf im Bogenschießen oder Völkerball. Und wer vor Erschöpfung nicht mehr Stehen kann, der lässt sich abends in eines der 72 echten Betten nieder, denn in der Wasserburg ist eine moderne Jugendherberge mit Duschen, Fernsehrräumen und Café. Den Abschluss des umfangreichen Sonnabends kürt das legendäre Ritteressen für Edelleute, Fürsten und Könige.

Das Spektakel "Schlaflos in Heldrungen" findet vom 9. bis 11. Juli 2010 in Heldrungen bei Bad Frankenhausen statt. Über 200 Teilnehmer finden mit ihren Rechnern Platz und der Eintrittspreis beginnt bei 12 Euro für Vagabunden, die standesgemäß in einem Gruppenzelt schlafen wollen. Die Könige mit Vollverpflegung und Zweibettzimmer sind bereits ausgebucht. Aber die Plätze für Fürsten und Edelleute können noch gebucht werden.
